Professional responsibilities include preliminary project evaluation, preliminary site assessment including geologic mapping of site, material sampling, logging of test holes, site seismic hazard evaluation, fault trench logging and analyses, slope stability analysis, landslide investigation and mitigation, structure distress evaluation with mitigation recommendations, field observation with geologic mapping during preliminary and construction phases of projects, preparation of geologic/geotechnical reports, percolation testing and system design, and geologic evaluation of groundwater levels follow-up and response to reviewing agency inquiries.
